Council amends PGW (Philadelphia Gas Works) loan plan
Article Abstract:
City Council has decided to amend the Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) loan plan which calls for a $45 million loan that would allow the utility access to more than half the money immediately. The amendment would allow the cash-strapped utility to collect $25 million from the city right away, and get the rest of the $20 million after filing a five-year financial plan with the Gas Commission.
