Sharon Hill-based Genovo Inc. agreed to be acquired by its rival in genetic research, Seattle-based Targeted Genetics Corp. for $89.9 million in stock. Since Targeted has collaborations with the University of Washington, Johns Hopkins and the Un. of North Carolina, Genovo's agreement with the Un. of Pennsylvania will be discontinued.
