The construction of hotels in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is discussed. The Baton Rouge Hospitality Management Association reports that more than 10 new hotels are being planned or constructed in the city. Jon Fels, an hotelier in the city, believes that this trend could affect existing local properties due to a projected decline in hotel business.
