Union Pacific Corp., the nations biggest railroad is faced by two problems. The first problem is that they are struggling with a crew shortage, rail congestion and retirement of engineers under new federal rules and the other problem is the cost of diesel fuel, which is up about 30 percent.

Spending increase proposed at DRPA
