Managing "From the HEART" produces bottom-line results
Article Abstract:
The success of an organization largely depends on its ability to mobilize its manpower to perform its best and be responsible individuals. However, it may take compassion to inspire loyalty from the staff and motivate people to produce bottom-line results. This involves listening to employees' concerns, recognizing their worth and disagreeing with them without belittling them. It also entails examining and acknowledging their good intentions and threshing out problems with them to create solutions. Managers who work to improve their employee relationships may develop a harmonious workforce that produces results.
