Characterization and FTIR studies of MnO(sub x)-CeO2 catalyst for low-temperature selective catalytic reduction of NO with NH3

Article Abstract:

A series of high-activity manganese-cerium oxide catalysts for the low-temperature (373-453 K) selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO(sub x) with ammonia were prepared. They were prepared by using the citric acid method (CA), coprecipitation method (CP), and impregnation method (IM) and were charaterized by XRD, ESR, XPS AND FTIR techniques.

Polyhedral shapes of CeO2 nanoparticles

Article Abstract:

The shapes of CeO2 nanoparticles for different sizes are determined by high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (TEM). It is observed that for particles in the size range of 3-10 nm, the particle shape is dominated by a truncated octahedral that is enclosed by the {100} and {111} facets.

Metal particles coverage evidenced by (super 1)H NMR spectroscopy in high surface Rh/CeO2 catalysts

Article Abstract:

High-temperature reduction of Rh/CeO2 catalysts favor interaction with supported metal particles. This reduces hydrogen adsorption capacity of rhodium particles.
