Coupled membrane fluctuation and protein mobility in supported intermembrane junctions
Article Abstract:
Studies were carried out on mobile antibodies sandwiched between lipid bilayer membranes to show that strong intermembrane adhesion and protein mobility alone are sufficient to drive inert proteins into micron-scale patterns of dense and sparse zones. The structure of intermembrane junctions is set by certain membrane fluctuation modes coupling to the motion of membrane-bound protein.

Hydrogen storage capacity characterization of carbon nanotubes by a microgravimetrical approach
Article Abstract:
An accurate gravimetric apparatus based on a contactless magnetic suspension microbalance to measure the hydrogen storage capacity for a variety of carbon nanotubes (CNT) is developed. All investigated CNT products possess relatively low hydrogen storage capacities regardless of their synthesis methods, purities, and nanostrucutres.
