H-theorem for lifetime distributions of active intermediates in nonequilibrium chemical systems with stable limit cycles
Article Abstract:
The large time behavior of the lifetime distributions of active intermediates in nonequilibrium chemical systems with stable limit cycles was investigated. The lifetime distributions can be integrated using the method of characteristics. An H-theorem was proven which shows that for a chemical system with a stable limit cycle all transient lifetime distributions evolve toward the same normal form which is a periodic function of time and which is independent of the initial conditions.

Improved calculation of rotational diffusion and instrinsic viscosity of bead models for macromolecules and nanoparticles
Article Abstract:
An improved alternative method for calculation of hydrodynamic properties of bead models is presented. Each bead is replaced by a cubic array of minibeads and these procedures need a computational overload. The manner in which such a correction can be estimated is found from the geometry of the model and its application yields, and the results that are within the range of typical experimental errors.
