Two-Dimensional supramolecular assemblies of quinacridone derivatives: From achiral to chiral racemates and domains
Article Abstract:
The two-dimensional (2D) assemblies of N,N'-dialkyl-substituted quinacridone derivatives on highly oriented pyrolytic graphite (HOPG) observed by scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) is described. A demonstration on how minor structural variations can influence the supramolecular organization of the compounds is presented.

Single polymer chain elongation of poly(n-isopropylacrylamide) and poly (acrylamide) by atomic force microscopy
Article Abstract:
The nanomechanical properties of poly (N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM) and poly (acrylamide)(PAAM) in deionized water and 8M urea aqueous solution is studied by using an atomic force microscopy based technique-single -molecule force spectroscopy (SMFS). Different force-extension traces in both systems are obtained.

Alkyl and dendron substituted quinacridones: Synthesis, structures, and luminescent properties
Article Abstract:
The synthesis of two alkyl substituted quinacridone derivatives and four dendritic quinacridone derivatives are studied. The analysis has revealed that these derivatives exhibit the evolution from crystalline phase to amorphous phase upon varying from alkyl substituted quinacridones to dendritic quinacridones.
