Heterogenous photocatalysis
Article Abstract:
Mechanisms of photocatalytic reactions of heterogenous dispersions of semiconductors requiring electron-hole generation stimulated by band-gap excitation are discussed. Control of electron-hole formation is influenced by reaction conditions, doping concentrations, coadsorbate treatment and ion implantation. Metal oxides semiconductors demonstrated better photostability and prolonged photocatalysis.

Many-body approaches for simulating coherent nonlinear spectroscopies of electronic and vibrational excitons
Article Abstract:
Cumulant expansion of Gaussian fluctuations (CGF) and nonlinear exciton equation (NEE) methods are used for calculating the nonlinear optical response of the excitons and determining its relation to bath spectral densities. NEE method helps in accounting for the structure of two-exciton resonances, which can be used in modeling of molecular nanostructures.
