Medium effects on charge transfer in metal complexes
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to characterize a number of charge-transfer phenomena and how they are affected by the medium in which they occur. Shifts in absorption band energies supporting solvent can be significant for charge-transfer bands. Results suggested a general framework for quantitatively evaluating charge-transfer phenomena. Findings also indicated that specific interactions result from H-bonding or donor-acceptor interactions.

Electron- and charge-transfer reactions within zeolites
Article Abstract:
Electron- and charge-transfer reactions between intercalated molecules including coupling with electron donors and acceptors within zeolite are studied. Zeolite has unique properties such as rigidity, negatively charged surface and control of pore size which solvent cavities do not have. These properties are conducive to observing reactions of organic and inorganic compounds within zeolit pores.
