Metal-metal interactions in linked metallocenes
Article Abstract:
Metal-metal interactions occur in several ways in a variety of bridged metallocene systems. Pentalene-bridged systems have the strongest metal-metal interactions. Total delocalization occurs between metal centers in some systems, while just small electrochemical effects are found in other systems. Metal-metal communication happens less efficiently through saturated bridges than through unsaturated carbon bridges. Stronger interactions are achieved in elements from the second row downwards of the periodic table in comparison with carbon bridges. Several classes of synthesized linked metallocenes are reviewed, with focus on the systems which include studies on metal-metal interactions.

Mechanism-Based profiling of enzyme families
Article Abstract:
A chemical strategy, activity-based protein profiling (ABPP), utilizes active site-directed covalent probes to profile the functional state of enzymes in complex proteomes. A brief overview is presented on the design of activity-based probes (ABP) for functional proteomics, biological application of ABP's, methodological advances beyond the central paradigm and ABP's and their application beyond comparative proteomics.
