Nonanomeric spiroketals in natural products: Structures, sources, and synthetic strategies
Article Abstract:
Nonanomeric spiroketals, due to their fragile nature, have been the stumbling blocks of natural product syntheses and some synthetic strategies to access these nonanomeric structures are described. Failure toward synthesis of nonanomeric CD spiroketal system is also discussed.

Recent advances in natural product synthesis by using intramolecular Diels-Alder reactions
Article Abstract:
The role of Diels-Alder reactions, in the field of natural product synthesis, for the construction of cyclic carbon framework is very crucial. The transannular Diels-Alder methods with emphasis on structurally complex natural products are described.
