Viscosity B-coefficients of ions in solution
Article Abstract:
The correlations between different B-coefficients, obtained for different dilute solutions of electrolytes are discussed on the basis of the available data till 1993 on ionic B-coefficients. The value of ionic B-coefficients is higher in non-aqueous solvents compared to water. Relation of B-coefficients to the properties of solvents and ions is discussed. Viscosity B-coefficients are determined for electrolytes in 25 different non-aqueous solvents.
