Wang goes Dutch

Wang Global has been purchased by Getronics NV of the Netherlands for $2 billion. With the acquisition, Getronics, one of the world's five largest technology services providers, gains a foothold in the US market. Wang, meanwhile, will become the biggest service provider in Europe. The new company has combined annual revenues of around $5 billion, 33,000 employees in operations in 44 countries.

AT&T Solutions moves to gobble up IBM Global Network
Article Abstract:
AT and T Global Solutions has acquired IBM Global Network for $5 billion. IBM Global offers network-related operations, services and support to business customers located in 59 countries. It is expected to generate more than $2.5 billion in revenues in its first year under AT and T. The transaction will also make Big Blue a part of AT and T Solutions as a network support customer.
