Article Abstract:
Some physical therapists, like home care providers in other fields, are guilty of overutilization and overtreatment. The Medicare system can no longer afford to pay for unnecessary treatments. If home care is to survive, the overuse of services, reimbursements for unnecessary services, and abuses of Part A benefits must end. Politics represents an impediment to one answer, the Workgroup's Unified PPS.

Workers call for strike over fatal crane collapse
Article Abstract:
The Health and Safety Executive are investigating a fatal accident at the HSBC Tower site in Canary Wharf, London, caused by the mechanical failure of a self-erecting crane. Union UCATT has called for a national one-day strike to highlight safety concerns.
