We can work it out
Article Abstract:
The culture of conflict in the UK construction industry has led to high levels of inefficiency. This problem is gradually becoming more widely recognized, and efforts are now being made to ensure that legal costs are in proportion with the sum in dispute. Further improvements could be made by making adjudication and other intermediate dispute resolution standard practice. Contracts should be made shorter and simpler, and efforts should be made to move away from the view that adjudication is not suitable for large or complicated cases.
