ALC and Dunhill mark milestones
Article Abstract:
Princeton, NJ-based American List Counsel and Boca Raton, FL- based Dunhill International List Co. both are marking milestones as they celebrate their 20th and 60th anniversaries, respectively. The firms project list management and brokerage firms will retain service expansion to meet client needs as compilers become more niche oriented as public data sources become proprietary. ALC is investing $1 million in to technology enhance its management system as it readies for its next 20 years. The firm is adding partners, opening regional offices and establishing new business as part of its preparation. Dunhill expects directory publishers to cease production and place everything on copyrighted CD-ROMs, making it hard to compilers to secure data and force them to seek a niche. However, the firm still expects compiled lists to continue its crucial role in targeted marketing.
