Acxiom buys French DM firm as step in Europe expansion

Acxiom, an Arkansas-based data management firm that owns Direct Media International, has recently acquired leading French database and DM services company Normadress, for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition is part of the company's European expansion strategy. Acxiom intends to retain Normadress' current management, which is reportedly in favor of the acquisition. Normadress, which has been operating for the last 10 years, provides such services as name and address processing, database provision, as well as response and campaign management services.

Novus acquires modeling software firm, Wenner titles
Article Abstract:
Novus Marketing of Tarrytown, NJ, revealed it has purchased Shelburne, VT-based DMAS Inc. in a cash transaction that took effect Apr 1. The deal, which comes as Novus assumes management of the Wenner Media file, was made to strengthen Novus' modeling services for its list management clients. It will entitle Novus ownership of DMAS' client base and licensing rights to its advanced marketing selectivity system. ;
