Single-ply's rising star: what makes TPOs so good?
Article Abstract:
Thermoplastic polyolefins (TPOs) are new-generation single-ply membranes that combine the best features of EPDM and PVC. TPO membranes offer advantages such as fire and weather resistance, field seam strength, dimension stability, puncture resistance and substantial membrane thickness over the scrim. TPOs are gaining wide acceptance among roof contractors because of their cost-saving benefits and consistent and outstanding seaming performance.
