Coss, Wells, Moore top 1999 Hall of Fame list

Twelve standouts in the manufactured housing industry will be honored at the Annual Hall of Fame Induction Banquet on August 5, 1999, in Elkhart, IN. The three who topped the list are Larry Coss, Walter Wells and Leff Moore. Coss was a respected leader in the development of financing programs for recreational vehicle and manufactured housing. Moore was once a chairman of the Manufactured Housing Executive Council and the founder of the West Virginia Recreational Vehicle Association.

A property insurance primer for retailers

Manufactured home retailers should take a number of steps when selecting their property/casualty insurance to minimize costs. These include opting for an 'all-risk' type of insurance to cover all forms of casualty and determining the amount of coverage needed. Retailers should also consider the possibility of self-insurance and whether they should purchase from a direct-writer or a broker.
