Cost information on charging, materials and wages within the construction industry are given. Construction industry pricing levels from South-eastern building contracts are shown. Plain ceramic tiles cost an average of 25 pounds sterling per square meter and concrete roof tiles cost an average of 13.50 pounds sterling per square meter. Building and top UK quantity surveyor Davis Langdon and Everest have produced figures to be used as a guide to national building tender prices for the first Qtr of 1993. The figures can be used to update Spon's price book for 1993. Preliminaries for tenders have risen in between 5% to 6% on any competitive tender above 250,000 pounds sterling.
