Article Abstract:
Job applicants are advised to shorten a resume if it is more than between three and four pages in length. They should be cautious about what hobbies or outside interests are included in case they put the employer off. The resume should be accompanied by a well-written letter of introduction. The applicant should think carefully about the letter of introduction if it is designed to describe a desired field of work or career change.
