Au Train, MI-based Target Market Consulting is a new company opened in November 1998 that offers to provide methods to firms seeking to reach college students, a market deemed a confusing and fragmented market. The company is headed by Elaine Burn, the former vice president of market development for Okemos, MI-based American Collegiate Marketing Inc. Aside from offering access to a database for their intended focus, Target Market Consulting will also provide other services directed at the college market. These other services include giving marketing strategies and competitor intelligence, as well as media suggestions and placement and development of new media.

Gage marketing support services merges with AHL
Article Abstract:
AHL Services Inc. of Atlanta, GA, has recently purchased a majority stake in the marketing support services unit of Gage Marketing Group LLC of Minneapolis, in a deal valued at $81.1 million. The partnership deal will combine AHL's existing fulfillment services to Gage Marketing Group's to create a $100 million base for growth in AHL's marketing execution support services. Gage's support services unit includes consumer fulfillment, teleservices and trade-support services. It will now operate under the name Gage Marketing Support Services as a division of AHL Services.
