Finnish DM takes the Web in stride
Article Abstract:
A study be SSML, Finland's version of the Direct Marketing Assn of the US, indicated that the Finnish people are very much accustomed to electronic commerce. The 1999 data showed that 95% of the 15-24 year old group bought goods and services online, while the highest increase was among the 50-64 group that went from 25% to 35%. However, home penetration of online marketing was relatively very low.
