Growth in the industry
Article Abstract:
Garden Designer Dan Pearson suggests landscape architects and architects should communicate with garden designers in order to design the best possible product for their clients. He points out he is often called in at the end of a project when he could have been very helpful during the initial design process, by ensuring the building is placed in the best position on a site. There is a long waiting list for his designs as Pearson works with only one assistant. Pearson preferred to specialize in horticulture rather than landscape design because of his interest in plants.
