It's prime time

Article Abstract:

The UK government intends to make better use of prime contracting when undertaking construction procurement. Prime contractors make a contract with the client for a number of construction projects. There is some risk in taking part in prime contracting for the government as firms will incur additional costs. Some contractors, in the construction industry, are attending courses to help them understand the prime contracting concept. The UK treasury is planning reduce the cost and time spent on real estate construction by 10% annually.
