Mortgage company boosts DM division
Article Abstract:
First Mortgage Corp. (FMC), a Diamond Bar, CA-based mortgage company, has hired 30 people in the first quarter of 1998 to bolster its direct marketing division, which generated a 105% increase in its volume of new loans. The move is aimed to respond to the growing demand for new and refinanced mortgages as well as establish a presence in the competitive conventional and subprime loan markets. The company, which has eight offices in California and Arizona, has been utilizing direct mail for the last 10 years to market its government-backed FHA and VA mortgages. Direct marketing is expected to continue allowing the firm to compete with low-coast-loan products offered by major regional and national banks.
