PIMA/ASE report outlines need for greater energy efficiency in federal facilities
Article Abstract:
A report released by the Alliance to Save Energy (ASE) group, that was prepared with the participation of the (Polyisocyanurate Insulation Manufacturers Assn), has underscored the federal government's need to reduce energy waste. The study noted that this could be done partly through the use of more energy-efficient construction materials. The ASE/PIMA report represents more than two years of research. The government is the largest energy user in the US, consuming roughly over 30% more energy per sq ft than the nation's building stock at large.

MHI sues EPA in Federal Court
Article Abstract:
MHI had filed a suit in the U.S Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in Richmond, Va., challenging the EPA's policy on the applicability of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) to submetered properties. The legal action by MHI required judicial review, as it believed that it hindered water conservation and led to higher costs for the low-to-moderate income residents of manufactured home communities.
