MicroMass develops program for AHA

Cary, NC-based MicroMass Communications Inc has created an interactive Web program for the Amerian Heart Association (AHA) that offers help in identifying people's potential risk for heart diseases as well as encourage people to change their lifestyle to prevent diseases. AHA will offer `You're One of a Kind and so is Your Life' through health maintenance organizations (HMOs) and employer groups. Currently in beta testing, the program is set to debut in Nov 1999.

Willis Stein buys $205M stake in protocol
Article Abstract:
Chicago, IL-based personal equity investment firm Willis Stein and Partners LLC has made a small but significant capital investment of $205 million in integrated marketing services firm Protocol Communications of Boston, MA. The amount will enable Willis Stein, along with BCI Partners of Teaneck, NJ, to acquire a majority interest of more than 70% in Protocol Communications. Protocol Communications generates $88 million a year in revenues.
