Sport-Cat premieres

Florida-based boatbuilding and repair company Ken Hall and Assoc's owner, marine industry veteran Ken Hall, has confirmed a total of 184 orders for his new 25-ft Sport-Cat powerboat models. Thirty-four of the orders were obtained in Miami, FL. The orders have placed the company on track to achieve its target unit sales of 400 boats in 1999. Hall also markets the Sport-Craft Boats line. His company produces its vessels in Perry, FL, and will soon establish another manufacturing site in Sarasota, FL.

Waterline Systems Inc
Article Abstract:
USWatercraft LLC and Waterline Systems Inc have relocated to the Albin plant in Portsmouth, RI, from the nearby facility in Bristol, RI. The move, almost doubles the amount of production space available, from 17,000 to 33,000 sq ft. The new location also provides for a full-time spray booth and overhead electric hoists. Waterline is focused on the optimization of racing sailboats while USWatercraft is the licensed builder of the J/22 and J/24 sailboats in North America.
