The past, present and future of installation
Article Abstract:
The installation of manufactured homes has come a long way since the 1960s. Back then, the installers knew what they were doing and did not have to worry about inspectors, factories, job security, rules and licenses. Installers were judged by homeowners according to their skills. In the 1990s, the standards for a manufactured home has changed from a trailer to an affordable home. In the 1990s, the industry is at the crossroads of change with the looming HUD Code which has its own dark and bright side.
