US office supply catalogers in different Japan approach
Article Abstract:
Office Depot, a cataloger of office supplies, is cautiously pursuing its expansion initiatives for its Japanese catalog business. Office Depot is conducting tests on its catalogs, which were introduced in winter 1997, in the Hiroshima, Japan, area. Office Depot Japan's senior marketing manager, Hiroshi Fujioki, cited that Japanese orders for its catalog offerings were a little less, a development attributed to the Hiroshima catalog's less product offerings compared to the catalog it plans to send to the metropolitan area of Tokyo, Japan.
