Economist Professor E. Victor Morgan, who died on Mar 10, 1996, was highly respected as a specialist in money and in financial institutions. However, he wrote on a wide range of subjects, including monetary theory, monetary history, capital markets and monetary policy. He had a lucid, eloquent style, and his work showed the highest possible standards of scholarship. He was keenly aware of the need to link economic theory with a knowledge of history and an ability to discern how institutions operate in practice.

Insomniacs can improve their chances of a good night's sleep by not resting during the day, and not smoking, drinking alcohol, tea or coffee, or eating heavilly before going to bed.
