The Earth, source of health and hazards: An introduction to medical geology
Article Abstract:
Insidious hazards affecting humans and other living creatures are evaluated. Naturally occurring gases, minerals and elements can lead to diseases by contaminating air, water or food and it is indicated that stipulation of disease from Earth-based hazardous materials requires collaboration of Earth and medical personnel to avoid diseases and debilitation.

Floral symmetry and its influence on variance in flower size
Article Abstract:
An examination is presented on phenotypic variance in flowers, focusing on the evolutionary progression from radial symmetry to bilateral symmetry and changes in size. Findings show that species that are radially symmetrical demonstrate the greatest level of size variation.

Chondrites and the protoplanetary disk
Article Abstract:
Coordinated isotopic and mineralogical studies of components in chondrites were carried out. These studies identified rare chondrites that largely escaped heating and alteration in asteroids.
