Article Abstract:

This is illustrated by a cezanne exhibition at the Tate Gallery, London, England. The Tate has to secure funds for a new gallery, and the sale of Cezanne merchandise helps it achieve this goal. The Royal Academy, London, has mounted exhibitions using contacts. The major UK galleries will show their own collections in 2000, and this will affect demand for Royal Academy services.
