Time's up for the comatose watchmaker
Article Abstract:
University of California, Berkeley law professor Phillip E. Johnson argues that the empirical evidence does not support the mechanism of random mutation and natural selection as defined by renowned contemporary Darwinist Richard Dawkins. Johnson points to the decidedly unimpressive nature of the most widely cited examples of natural selection in operation and the failure of the fossil record to display the pattern of continual gradual change expected by Darwinists. He suggests that 'comatose watchmaker' would be a more fitting title for Dawkins' 'blind watchmaker.'

Reaches for Its Macintosh
Article Abstract:
The Macintosh, a new computer introduced in January, may be a make or break product for Apple Computer, Inc. Apple management has been in disarray, illustrated by the mishandling of the Lisa computer last year. Under a new marketing chairman, Macintosh was given a sophisticated, very costly send-off. Apple is targeting new markets: universities and small businesses. The Macintosh is receiving praise; it is incompatible with the IBM PC.
