What's up with inflights?
Article Abstract:
International in-flight magazines have become an effective advertising medium, especially the European in-flight publications, which are more upscale (reflecting their markets' affluence). Air France is publishing its special-interest magazine entitled Air France Madame, with a circulation of 250,000, for women executives who fly. These in-flight magazines print many ads for personal items, as well as travel needs, and while not considered primary media, they compete with international magazines for ad revenue. Innovative in-flight video ads are becoming popular, despite a lack of recall by their viewers.
