Technics' A/V receivers enhance flexibility in mix-and-match home theater setups

Article Abstract:

Matsushita Electric Industrial Co Ltd has begun marketing three new audio- video receivers in the US under its Technics trademark. The new systems - the SA-DX930, SA-AX730 and SA-AX530 - are compatible with 5.1-channel Dolby Digital and Digital Theater Sound (DTS) systems. The SA-DX930 features a built-in Digital and DTS decoder, the SA-AX730 is DVD ready, while the SA-AX530 is designed for small apartments.

Demand grows for advanced connectors, switches

Article Abstract:

Connectors are chiefly used for input-output (I/O) interface between equipment. Increasing the number of connectors for advanced memory cards seems to be a burgeoning trend.
