Sony's Cybershot DSC-S series of digital cameras

Sony Corp has unveiled its Cybershot DSC-S series of digital cameras. The camera line is comprised of three models, namely, the DSC-S70, DSC-S50 and DSC-S30. The DSC-S70, which sells for $1.097, has a 3.34 million pixel CCD and offers enhanced moving picture shooting function. On the other hand, the DSC-S50 employs a 2.11 million pixel CCD and features an MPEG moving function. Lastly, the DSC-S30 uses a 1.3 million pixel CCD and retails for $611.

Seiko Epson's Colorio Photo CP-900Z digital cameras

Article Abstract:

Seiko Epson Corp has released a digital camera with 3.34 million pixels in its CCD. Labeled as Colorio Photo CP-900Z, the sophisticated camera is equipped with Hypict technology that allows it to produce output picture equivalent to 4.84 million-pixel. The CP-900X is also equipped with a 16MB CompactFlash memory card and a 3x optical zoom with a F2.0 aperture lens. Seiko Epson's digital camera retails for $1,242.
