Tackling with illiteracy
Article Abstract:
Manufacturing companies must be able to prevent the rise of illiteracy level in the workplace, so as to exploit full benefits of their labor force. One way of achieving this end is through the government's job-related literacy programs. These federally-funded initiatives seek to provide illiterate workers with extensive training in employment, career development and industry productivity. Employers must also promote the use of English as a second language and introduce workers to new technologies.
