Article Abstract:
Environmental services firms are looking to foreign clients to achieve revenue growth. Penetrating the foreign market successfully has always been marred by problems in language and culture, competition and the lack of financing and strategic planning. Globalization needs flexibility to adapt to new settings and changing regulations. US firms in the environmental services industry must continually reengineer their management and operations to ensure that they will retain the same level of quality and profitability in their foreign undertakings.
