Light spirits
Article Abstract:
The Church Floodlighting Trust provides financial help towards the exterior illumination of Britain's churches. The Trust has completed more than 100 floodlight installations, with projects spread nationally, and has examined designs and specifications for more than 400 churches. Among the churches which have been floodlit are St Mary's Parish Church, Eastbourne, and St Stephen's Church, St Albans.

Light fingered
Article Abstract:
David Atkinson has again won the award for best floodlighting in the Ecliathi Jersey Awards, through his work on Channel Island buildings at night. He won highly recommended for Mont Orgueil Castle and St. Aubins Fort, although his winning entry was at St. Mary's Church, which used eight floods with an overall load of 1.5 kW.
