Managing and motivating people on a joint venture project
Article Abstract:
The study focuses on the various methods of motivating employees. Although targetted for use by those involved in engineering related joint venture projects, the guidelines given can be adopted by employers and management staffs in other fields. The immediate goal of motivation is to boost employee morale and increase producvity.

Schedule 'games' people play, and some suggested 'remedies.'
Article Abstract:
Construction scheduling is meant to aid the proper planning and management of a project. Often though, contractors 'build' construction claims against project owners through schedule 'games.' Fourteen schedule 'games' used for public construction projects are discussed and remedies suggested.
