Pulses detect with least doubt: a very low cost radar technology-potentially cheap enough to measure fuel tank levels-has been developed by one of the UK's leading research groups
Article Abstract:
Single pulse radar wave technology has been developed to detect objects at a distance in a more cost effective way than continuous wave systems. The technology was developed originally to assess missile performance, but it could be used to detect objects in and around cars, which could eliminated minor accidents.
