Several courses for quality control professionals are available on the World Wide Web. These include the quality and system management certificate program of Aurora University, Center for Media and Independent Learning's quality management course; California State University in Bakersfield's programs on total quality management and business process reengineering and the JER Group's business management course.

The game of statistics: who was the real MVP of the 2000 World Series?
Article Abstract:
The way in which New York Yankee shortstop Derek Jeter was identified as the most valuable player in the 2000 World Series is considered. It is suggested that Player Game Percentage, in which multivariate measures are reduced to a single metric, should be used to find the most valuable player.
