Visioning: the concept, trilogy, and process
Article Abstract:
A vision of achieving quality may be a key element in the success of an organization. The actual picture may not always be the one that is idealized, but the gaps can be effectively reduced in various ways. A successful vision stimulates and gives a clear picture for decision-making. The process of visioning may incorporate factors such as collection of information, selecting the best of the ideas, testing the idea, getting sanctions from the organization for implementation and communicating the idea.
