Where the theory doesn't fit
Article Abstract:
The traditional land reform theory of land redistribution does not seem to be a fitting solution to sub-Saharan Africa's problems. Land resources are generally accessible to all and most sub-Saharan farm economies are landsurplus economies. Furthermore, traditional African forms of land tenure provide opportunity and security to land users, thus making individual tenure useless and even counter-productive. Evidently, a new framework of agrarian reform is what is needed in the region.

NAFTAmath
Article Abstract:
The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) has failed to improve the environment through free trade in Mexico, Canada and the US. Toxic dumpsites in Maquiladora on the Mexico-US border are a constant health hazard to residents. Chile is keen to join NAFTA and currently operates bilateral trade agreements with Canada and Mexico. The question of whether Chile should be included in the agreement is debatable.

Where the sky is born
Article Abstract:
The Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve is a place whose beauty may prove to be a hazard. Its undefiled coastal waters, tropical forests and mangrove swamps are tempting to resort developers. Today, indigenous Mayan tribes continue to live here in a way that preserves the natural beauty of the place.
