Lowering costs of producing biodiesel
Article Abstract:

A new method developed by Agriculture Research Service eliminates hexane, which is used to extract the oil from soybeans, from the process by skipping the oil extraction step and incubating soybean flakes with methanol and sodium hydroxide instead.
