C&D recycling technologies: Statewide disposal ban
Article Abstract:
Two Massachusetts facilities process construction and demolition (C&D) materials banned for disposal using a system of conveyors, screens, manual picking and grinders, to recover newly banned materials, while simultaneously recovering wood for use as boiler fuel. Analyzing what's recyclable in C&D debris
Article Abstract:
The amount of construction and demolition(C&D) debris is continually on a rise even though the analysis or sorting of data is comparatively difficult. Using information from the debris studies with EPA tonnage estimates for each of the C&D sectors and the information derived from industries and experts representing materials in C&D, and analysis of the annual level of its debris is conducted.
